Sector analysis - Overview of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence (AI), also called as machine intelligence refers to intelligence
demonstrated by machines that are programmed to think like humans in contrast to
the simulation of human intelligence. It was founded in 1955 as an academic
discipline, and in years it has experienced many waves. The challenges of AI research
include reasoning, knowledge representation, planning, learning, natural language
processing, perception, and the ability to move and manipulate objects, social
intelligence, and general intelligence. AI has applications in healthcare, automotive,
finance, and economics, cybersecurity, government, law-related professions, video
games, military, hospitality, audit, advertising, and art. AI is still booming and is at
initial stages, yet to come up with more algorithms for exact expressions.
