Conclusion
Although, the hydrogen dioxide production technology finds its root in the early nineteenth
century, there has been increasing growth in the patent publication trend owing to the
application of hydrogen dioxide in various application segments, in propylene oxide
manufacturing, and as an alternative to chlorine bleach in paper industry.
The United States tops the hydrogen peroxide synthesis domain followed by China,
Germany and Japan.
Anthraquinone is the most investigated process in the H O synthesis domain due to its

safety aspects (no direct contact of H & O ), milder reaction temperatures and high

yield.
