                                        In 2017,  West Bengal and Odisha  states approached for
                                        CGPDTM to secure GI tag for “Rasagola. Rasagola – sweet
                                        dish, after  a strong  battle the  State  of  Odisha bagged
                                        geographical indication tag in India on 29th July, 2019.


                                        Srivilliputhur is famous  for  palkova which  is sweetened
